Katsuhei Toyoguchi was born in Akita Prefecture Japan. He began to design unique furniture after graduating from Tokyo Japan's Chiba Engineering School. He has held the prominent position of Director of the Japan Industrial Designers' Association.
He was awarded numerous prizes including the Trade Promotion Prime Minister Service Prize. He has given a unique gift to mankind as he is considered a pioneer of modern design in Japan.
